My 20-month-old son is a HUGE Thomas fan, so when I saw these recently at a store, I had to pick them up for him. They're adorable! They work like any other bathtub squirter -- just fill them up with water and squeeze them to watch water come out the "smokestack." (You have to fill them up pretty full for it to work properly, as the water is being squirted straight up.)
My son also enjoys playing with them outside of the tub. They don't really roll, as of course they don't have working wheels, but he still likes to make them "chug" across the floor.
